No gatekeeping, no eye-rolls, no "you should already know that." Walk in with zero experience and leave with a deck or a painted miniature, plus the confidence to use it.

    How do I start?

    Cheapest on-ramp in the hobby is a pre-built deck - usually $15 to $30 - that plays right out of the box, no building required. Tell us what caught your eye, whether that's Magic, Lorcana, One Piece, or something else, and we'll match you to a starter and teach you the rules in about five minutes. Show up to a casual night and you'll be playing for real by the end of it.

    What is a pre-release?

    When a new set drops, we run an event a few days before it hits shelves. You crack fresh packs, build a deck on the spot from whatever you pull, then play a friendly tournament - everyone's working with brand-new cards, so nobody's the expert and everyone's confused together. Best newcomer event there is, and the veterans love it too.

    Can I bring my kid?

    Please do. Our casual nights are built for mixed tables - kids, parents, first-timers, and lifers all sharing the same space. Games like Lorcana and Pokémon are easy for younger players to pick up, and our staff won't sigh at a slow first turn. Bring your kid, bring yourself, and ask about a loaner deck to get everyone started.

    Want to schedule a D&D session?

    We'd love to get you rolling. Tell us about your group and the kind of adventure you're after on the Private GM Sessions page, and we'll check whether a local Game Master is available. Once we've got a GM, a room, and a date locked in, we'll confirm everything - including price - before anything's booked. First time at the table is more than welcome.

Level Up is a hobby store started and built by two guys, Dusty and Joe. We're 100% business during business hours and 100% gamer nerds at night, and there's no better way to build something you love than to make the store and gathering space you'd want to hang out in yourself. We wanted to bring everyone from every corner of Wise County and the surrounding areas something you just don't see out in the country.

Found a binder in the attic from '99? We pay fair rates on Pokémon, Magic, One Piece, and Riftbound collections. Singles, sealed product, bulk, the whole stack. Cash for what you want to part with, or store credit at a better rate if you'd rather walk out with new product in hand.

Not sure what you've got? Bring it anyway. The "worthless" card someone almost threw out has paid off plenty of times.

Reaper Miniatures has been casting fantasy figures out of Denton, Texas since 1992, back when a d20 was just a d20 and your character sheet was graph paper. The catalog runs 5,000+ figures across Bones plastic, Dark Heaven Legends metal, Dungeon Dwellers, and the Master Series Paints line that lives on every painter's shelf.
